An Alpine-looking town of chocolate shops, the Seven Lakes road and craft beer in Patagonia.
Bariloche on Lake Nahuel Huapi looks like the Alps on purpose, with stone-and-timber buildings, chocolate shops and a craft-beer scene. The Circuito Chico, by bike or car, and the cable cars above it give the classic views; the Ruta de los Siete Lagos winds north past lake after lake to Villa La Angostura and San Martín de los Andes, with forest trails and kayaks at every stop.
