Busan is Korea’s port and beach city: Haeundae and Gwangalli beaches under the skyline, the Jagalchi fish market at the harbour, the hillside pastel village of Gamcheon and Haedong Yonggungsa, a temple built on the sea rocks. West along the coast, Tongyeong is a harbour town among hundreds of islands, with a cable car to its peak and ferries into the Hallyeohaesang marine park.
