Tea plantations and mossy cloud forest in the cool, and Ipoh’s cave temples and white coffee.
The Cameron Highlands were a British hill station and still feel like one: tea estates roll over the ridges, strawberry farms and Tudor-style inns sit in the cool at fifteen hundred metres, and trails climb into a mossy cloud forest. Below them, Ipoh is a tin-mining town of colonial shophouses and street art, cave temples in the limestone hills and the best white coffee in Malaysia.
