Elephant herds at the river by boat, and Victoria Falls an hour down the road.
The Chobe riverfront has the largest elephant population in Africa, and in the dry season herds of hundreds come down to drink while boats drift past hippos, crocodiles and buffalo. Kasane is the small town at its edge where Botswana, Namibia, Zambia and Zimbabwe almost meet, and Victoria Falls, one of the wonders of the world, is an hour away across the Zimbabwean border.
