North Sea dunes, a lighthouse being swallowed by sand, and two seas that meet visibly.
Jutland is the Danish mainland and the wind comes off the North Sea without anything in the way. At Grenen the Skagerrak and the Kattegat meet on a spit you can stand on with a foot in each, the waves running at each other. Rubjerg Knude lighthouse was moved inland on rails in 2019 because the dune was burying it. The west coast is a run of wide beaches, summer houses and bunkers left from the Atlantic Wall, and the light is why painters came to Skagen.
