Livingstone is the Zambian town beside Victoria Falls, the largest curtain of falling water on earth. In the dry season you can sit in the Devil’s Pool at the very edge; the gorges below have some of the world’s wildest white-water rafting, bungee jumps from the bridge and helicopter flights, and in the evening boats cruise the upper Zambezi among hippos and elephants.
