A coast national park with a 300-kilometre path, puffin islands and Britain’s smallest cathedral city.

Pembrokeshire is the only national park in Britain designated for its coastline, and the Coast Path runs the whole way round it past cliffs, coves and Iron Age forts. Skomer holds one of the largest puffin colonies in the world for a few months each summer, St Davids is a city of under two thousand people built around a cathedral in a hollow, and the beaches at Barafundle and Whitesands are as good as anything further south. Coasteering was invented here, and it shows.
