Siargao became famous for Cloud 9, one of Asia’s best reef breaks, and kept a laid-back feel around it. Scooters go through coconut palms to rock pools and the Sugba lagoon; boats hop to the white sandbars of Naked, Daku and Guyam islands. General Luna is the village where everyone stays, and beginners learn to surf on the gentler waves nearby.
