Limestone cliffs, caves, castles like Hohenzollern and Lichtenstein, and the Blautopf spring.
The Swabian Jura is a limestone plateau whose edge breaks into cliffs, gorges and caves — some of them held the oldest carvings of mankind. Hohenzollern and Lichtenstein castles stand on their rocks, the Blautopf in Blaubeuren glows impossibly blue, and the trails of the Albsteig and a dense net of climbing crags cover the rest. Tübingen is the university town at its foot.
